Training is not just an event, it is a core value. BrightStar is a perpetually learning company. Continuous learning and personal growth is expected. We are always looking for new ways of improving our business and we will always share everything with you. We launched a learning management system and online training center in 2010 to deliver online learning to all franchisees and their teams to facilitate continuous learning and improvement.

As a new owner, you will begin by attending our four day new owner bootcamp. Those days will be spent orienting you to our business and giving you all of the information you need to open as quickly as possible. We will also give you the criteria to help fill out your office team.

As you move closer to your grand opening, you will then attend our five day training with your team which will prepare you for the BrightStar opportunity.. We cover every aspect of the business from how to find clients, how to answer the phones, talk to potential staff, and the Athena Business System. Our franchisees will choose an operations or sales role in the beginning and then hire the role they do not fill as well as hire a Director of Nursing (part-time in most states depending on licensure requirements) . We are unique in that we do not just make an investment in training for the franchisee but instead train all three roles with separate tracks for each so that the whole team is prepared for what they need to do and how they will function together for optimal results. By the end of your training you’ll feel confident starting your own business.

Training and support will not just end there, however. We will also provide weekly phone calls initially through your BrightStart team as well as spend at least two visits within your first three months at your franchise location. We will be there to answer the questions you have and be of service to you through a centralized Support Center as well as through your BrightStart Coach initially and with a Regional Director of Field Support thereafter.
